It's complicated. You don't know where to start, you just don't want to miss any minute detail in telling your story. You are trying so hard to remember each and every incident and justify it. Does this sound familiar?

Well, if you're watching this, I'm glad. Because that means you're safe. And that's all I ever wanted. I wish I could... be there with you. But as you probably know now, I wouldn't have much time anyway, so.. I've made my choice, and.. I don't regret it. Anyway, not too long from now, there's going to be another Scofield running around.

You know we spend so much of our lives, not saying the things we want to say. The things we should say. We speak in codes, we send little messages. Origami. So now, plainly, simply, I want to say that I love you both, very much.

I'm actually quite sad to hear that Michael Jackson has passed on. Been listening to his best of hits for the past hour or so. He was a true musical genius - truly truly talented one of a kind entertainer. I think people will ask and consider it a point in their lives "Where were you when MJ died?"

Just reminds you that life is precious and it can be taken away from you at any time.

My older sister is getting divorced. Sigh. I blame them both - my brother-in-law and her because I believe it takes 2 hands to clap. I'm pissed and angry that their 4 kids will be the ones suffering the effects from a broken home.

Apparently since they are unable to "solve" their money problems as well as their lousy communication to each other, the next best thing to do is to get a divorce.

Stupid idiots. Both of them. 12 years of marriage down the drain.

I'm not close to my older sister at all - she sort of "abandoned" the family after marriage and hardly visited. Only now when there is no else to turn to, she then realizes that she had this other family.

My parents and younger sister has been big-hearted and supportive to her but I chose to remain neutral and impassive. Sure call me heartless or even someone who takes things personally - but there is something to be learned from this nonsense going on.

1) Marriage will always put women at a disadvantage. Never give up your career and source of income and believe you can depend on your husband.

2) NEVER ever put yourself in a position where you are financially dependent on a man. Because 99% of men nowadays are not even fit to be called a man.

You know those jungle tribes of native people where young boys must go severe tests and rituals in order to be recognized as a man by the older folk? I think those tribes are definitely are on to something.

3) Just because you made some money before, you become arrogant and believe you must be a natural-born businessman. Take out huge bank loans before you even secured cash flow in your business!

STOOOPID. And then run away like a coward leaving your wife and kids to deal with the bank who takes your belongings to auction off.

I know a businessman who was half a million in debt about 13 years ago - who never abandoned his kids. He is now worth USD120 million.

I'm pretty sure his character and personal strength to overcome adversity contributed to his wealth.

People are really like teabags. You never know how strong they are until they are inside hot water.

4) Singapore men keep saying that Singapore women are materialistic. Hell yeah. You are a man, you are expected to support your wife and family.

I'll buy my own diamond ring because I can bloody well afford it. My own car even if I want to. No one else can give me what I want except myself.

But if you are not sure whether you can even feed/clothe/educate my kids well, please don't think of getting married or settling down. Don't drag a woman inside your incompetent life to suffer along with you.

I had Chinese boyfriends and Malay boyfriends. And I think Malay boyfriends are the useless of the lot. Indecisive and insecure and only know sweet words. Darling, I do multi-million dollars sales but I don't think my tongue is that honeyed.

I'm sorry but I live in Singapore. Please show me your bank account first. In the meantime, I like to enjoy my single, almost-financially-free life and the complete freedom of being able to do whatever I want.

5) Bottomline is - All ladies out there: Just rely on yourselves. 99% of men will never be able to give you what you want.

I wish all women becomes successful in finding that rare gem of a man because you are the truly lucky ones.

"If all else being equal (taste, quality, location) - would you go to a Muslim-owned food establishment or a Halal-certified one?"

----

Yes tricky qn!

I agree: the quality of Muslim-owned food establishments can be improved...

there's this complacent attitude that "I'm sure Muslims will patronize my food establishment" and hence the less-than-careful attitude of running a business.

Really personal choice: I go for halal-certified.

- Because they take the choice of deciding to INVEST in a recognized certification. they consider it as a long-term business and that's why they strive to keep food quality improving.

- I have a lot of friends of other races and religions. If I'm present, I'm always the one who decides where to eat.

So to send a "strong signal" that I take my Muslim dietary requirements seriously, I will make sure wherever I go (and bring them) has a Halal cert.

Dear CBS

I'm from Singapore. Maybe you're familiar with MediaCorp which always like to buy CBS shows to show at our local channel.

I'm in LOVE with COLD CASE. I love the empathetic Lilly Rush and all those sappy cases that gets solved with beautiful songs of the era.

I almost always cry at the end of every episode.

It's one of a kind - not a carbon copy of CSI. Please don't cancel this wonderful show! The other CSI shows always gives us reason to hate the "do-er" but Cold Case always shows that it is never black/white.

Cold Case teaches me that everyone deserves to be heard and lets me understand the motivation behind their actions.

How I wish I can have as much empathy and EQ as the main character. Kudos to the writers for creating Lilly Rush.

P.S. I have a soft spot for CBS. Because you picked up JAG when NBC canceled it and gave it another 9 more years. It's my beloved fave show.

And I know you were the people who pressured to ensure Harm / Mac ended up together. For that I remain forever grateful. THANK YOU.

Sincerely,
XXXA XXXX

Nickelback released the latest music video "If Today Was Your Last Day". Bloody cool video!!

I love this song so much, adding it to my list of inspirational songs.

Basically tells you about living your life to the fullest and making sure you give your best.

Especially - "Don't take the free ride in your own life" - what a great line. You want something out of your current existence, go the hell out and grab it. No one is ever going to give it on a silver platter.

Regardless of who you are
So do whatever it takes
'Cause you can't rewind a moment in this life
Let nothin' stand in your way
Cause the hands of time are never on your side

"Don't put off till tomorrow what you want to do today."

My other uber-favorite song "Dream On" mentioned the same thing - "Maybe tomorrow, the good Lord will take you away."

Remember if today was your last day... what will you do?

I finally decided to write down a post today. I'm halfway through the mark for my goal at the end of this year. Insya-Allah (God-willing) you will hear about it from me soon.

Whoever "they" is who told me I'm not going to make it - well I sent them packing. The "they" are not actual real people by the way. Guess who "they" are?

"They" are my negative thoughts, negative conversations I have.

Someone told me - a friend and mentor - "Can you be your own cheerleader? Can you be on your own side? Everyone is telling you what you can't do, including you. Whose side are you on? Yours or theirs? Can you at least be the only person on your side?"

"There will be thousands of people in this world to doubt you. They don't need your help."

I made a thousand mistakes along the way, I got cheated, I was lied to and a few other things along the way. Yep, I had clients who refuse to pay up, I had clients who ran away with my money. I take it as a learning and humbling experience.

"The harder you work, the luckier you are."

What I really gained was the belief that as long as I pushed forward with effort and never gave up - I became the luck as I built my businesses from inner integrity and impassioned work.

I'm truly grateful for what I have achieved so far and may God bless me with His Abundance.

Memang betul takde kerje... Haha.

Bukan pantun klasik tapi gerenti jadi classic!

Kalau ada sumur di ladang,
Boleh kita menumpang mandi;
Kalau ada umur yang panjang,
Tolong JANGAN MANDI KAT SITU LAGI! SUDAH TAK SENONOH AJE.

1. Cuci periuk sental belanga, skali perasan macam selenger.

2. Utara selatan timur benua, apa khabar semua?

3. Kain satin kain batik, baik kau blah pon cantik.

4. Laki bini janda balu, memang muka kau tak tau malu .

5. Anak derhaka selalu murka, kalau mati confirm neraka.

6. Mengumpat mengata perkara biasa, orang tersedak kita yang gembira.

7. Jadi orang jangan nak belit, nanti nak berak mesti sembelit.

8. Cicak kobeng naik teksi, korang jeles eh aku sexy.

9. Tengok tv makan kerepek, apalah yang korang merepek.

10. Pengat durian lawannya serabai, ok lah semua aku nak bye bye.

11. Daun kari daun selaseh, thank you and terima kaseh!

Wakakakehaha. Lepas tu dengar lagu Farid Hardja - dia rap maut seh kalah TI.
